This is to inform all applicants for the visa of the Islamic Republic of Iran that, effective from 30/04/2025, the validity period of visas issued by the Islamic Republic of Iran will be reduced from 90 days to 45 days. Accordingly, holders of Iranian visas will be allowed to enter Iran within 45 days from the date of visa issuance. Note: 1- The validity period of the visa refers to the duration calculated from the date of issuance during which the visa holder is allowed to enter Iran 2- Please note that this change applies only to the validity period of the visa. The duration of stay—i.e., the period during which the applicant is allowed to remain in the country after entry—remains unchanged and will still be up to 90 days, depending on the type of visa issued 3- The new 45-day validity period only applies to single-entry and double-entry visas. The validity period of multiple-entry visas (three-month, six-month, or one-year) remains unchanged and will continue as per previous regulations 4- Visas issued before 30/04/2025 will retain the previous 90-day validity period.
