The Consul General met with the vice chancellor of MANUU

The Consul General of Iran in Hyderabad met with the president of the university and the department of Persian language by attending at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU). In this meeting, the importance and position of the Persian language in the Indian subcontinent and the historical background of Persian language in Hyderabad Deccan were underlined. The meeting was held in the presence of Dr. Ain Al-Hassan, the president of Maulana Azad University (one of the graduates of the Persian language department) and other faculty members of the Persian language department. On the sidelines of this meeting, in order to equip and update the library resources of Maulana Azad University exquisite Persian books were donated by the Consulate General of Iran in Hyderabad.
