Family (Marital) Visa

In order to solve the problems of Iranian women who have registered with foreign men according to the law of the Islamic Republic of Iran and provide more facilities to their wives and foreign children to meet with relatives of Iranian women, it is possible to receive a family visa (marriage). This type of visa can be issued in one or more entries.

 Family (Marital) Visa Application:

Applicants must register their visa application in the E-Visa, after completing all the required information. It is necessary to upload the image of the Iranian lady's identity card (shenasnameh) pages in which the names of her husband and children are written.

 Required Documents:

  1. Original passport: The applicant's passport must be valid for at least 6 months.
  2. Visa application form fromE-Visa
  3. The original identity card of the Iranian lady in which the name of the wife and children is written.
  4. Indian residence card: Applicants with a non-Indian passport are required to upload and provide the Indian residence card (i.e. visa or OCI).
  5. Permission of the legal guardian of persons under 18 years of age: The applicant under the age of 18 is required to submit the letter of consent of his / her legal guardian approving for his / her trip to Iran at the Notary Public office along with other documents. (If the legal guardian is present at the consulate general to present the documents, there is no need for notarization).
  6. Payment of visa fee and bank receipt.  

 Important Description:

- Refuses to send incomplete documents, otherwise the documents will be returned without any action.

- Any forged documents and unrealistic information will result in the rejection of the application and may result in a ban on entry into Iran. If any unrealistic documents or information are disclosed after the visa is issued, the border authorities can prevent the applicant from entering Iran.

- If we need to interview the applicant, you will be called personally to the consulate general.

- If the issued visa is valid for 90 days, it means that the applicant has 90 days to enter Iran and reside in Iran based on the period of residence.

- If the applicant, after entering Iran, for any reason requires to extend his stay, he must refer to the General Directorate of Foreign Affairs and immigration of the Law Enforcement Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran (police).
