Investment Visa
A visa is issued to foreign nationals who have obtained their investment license with the approval of the Investment Organization and the Economic and Technical Assistance of Iran, using capital of foreign origin.
Foreign applicants who invest at least $ 100,000 or equivalent in other currencies in banks and credit institutions with long-term deposits or as much in Iran will be issued a five-year residence permit after approval by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance.
Application for the Investment Visa:
Foreign traders and investors can refer to the Investment and Economic and Technical Assistance Organization of Iran for the investment visa and obtain the Grant Notice.
Required Documents:
- Original passport: The applicant's passport must be valid for at least 6 months.
- Grant Notice from Iran.
- Indian residence card: Applicants with a non-Indian passport are required to upload and provide the Indian residence card (i.e. visa or OCI).
- Permission of the legal guardian of persons under 18 years of age: The applicant under the age of 18 is required to submit the letter of consent of his / her legal guardian approving for his / her trip to Iran at the Notary Public office along with other documents. (If the legal guardian is present at the consulate general to present the documents, there is no need for notarization).
Note: there is no fees for investment visa.
Important Description:
- Refuses to send incomplete documents, otherwise the documents will be returned without any action.
- Any forged documents and unrealistic information will result in the rejection of the application and may result in a ban on entry into Iran. If any unrealistic documents or information are disclosed after the visa is issued, the border authorities can prevent the applicant from entering Iran.
- If we need to interview the applicant, you will be called personally to the consulate general.
- If the issued visa is valid for 90 days, it means that the applicant has 90 days to enter Iran and reside in Iran based on the period of residence.
- If the applicant, after entering Iran, for any reason requires to extend his stay, he must refer to the General Directorate of Foreign Affairs and immigration of the Law Enforcement Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran (police).
